Reed is recruiting on behalf of an established distributor based in Bradford. Our client is seeking a talented, driven, and customer-focused Sales Account Manager to become part of a dynamic team. Day-to-day of the role:
Generate business from new and existing customers and build long-lasting relationships 40% existing/lapsed 60% new business
Identify and contact key decision-makers to manage sales opportunities and provide efficient, friendly customer service.
Upsell additional products/services within target customers.
Manage internal customer database ensuring all records are current and updated.
Process quotations to orders, generate CRM actions, request artwork, and liaise with Sales Administration and other departments as necessary.
Handle day-to-day processing of enquiries received over the phone, via email, or through web enquiries.
Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers through meetings, calls, and emails.
Gather market and customer information to provide feedback on future buying trends.
Review your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with products provided.
Communicate courteously with internal and external customers, building positive relationships and progressing issues and queries to a successful conclusion.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven track record in sales with demonstrated performance
Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate confidently with decision-makers.
Strong commercial awareness with a confident and determined approach.
Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection.
High degree of self-motivation and drive, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Capacity to flourish in a competitive environment and take calculated, educated risks.
