About the Role

Reed’s client is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join their People Services team.

This is a varied role where you will work closely with senior leaders to deliver both day-to-day HR support and strategic projects. You will play a key role in improving people management, supporting change, and helping the organisation achieve its goals.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide expert advice on employee relations including disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance
  • Support managers with complex HR cases and manage risks effectively
  • Assist with investigations, hearings and formal documentation
  • Support organisational change, restructures and workforce planning
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Use HR data to identify trends and improve performance
  • Support wellbeing, engagement and development initiatives
  • Mentor junior HR team members

  • Experience in a generalist HR role
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and employee relations
  • Experience supporting change and HR projects
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to analyse data and support decision-making
  • CIPD qualification (desirable)

To implement disciplinary and grievance procedures and advise management on disciplinary and grievance matters. To implement sickness management and performance management procedures. To monitor, update and develop HR policies in line with employment law and company requirements. Be responsible for employee engagement and communications – eg. Surveys, newsletters, forums. Code of Business Ethics. Other ad hoc duties as required. Full time equivalent salary is £40,000-£44,000 DOE 36 hours full-time hours pro rate to 27 hours per week.
