Temporary Receptionist

Hours: 9:00am – 6:00pm (Monday to Friday)

Location: Gloucestershire

Contract: Temporary –circa 3 months

Pay rate: £12.71 per hour

Reed are seeking a reliable and professional Temporary Receptionist to support our client's front-of-house operations for a 3-month period. This role is the first point of contact for visitors, so excellent communication skills and a personable, organised approach are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls promptly
  • Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times
  • Schedule and coordinate meeting rooms and appointments
  • Provide administrative support, including  filing, and document preparation
  • Assist with office coordination tasks such as ordering supplies
  • Maintain visitor logs and comply with health & safety procedures

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer service/reception environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the full 3-month assignment
