Due to new contract awards, we are looking for a proactive and organised Quantity Surveyor to join an Aberdeen-based Electrical Contractor on a full-time, permanent basis. 

This position would appeal to individuals experienced in quantity surveying, commercial functions, or project support who are looking to be involved in driving successful project outcomes. The role will involve providing support across both commercial and operational project activities, working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on budget, and in line with contractual obligations. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide commercial and technical administrative support across a range of projects
  • Assist with contract administration, ensuring adherence to terms and conditions
  • Support the preparation and submission of tender documentation
  • Coordinate project information between internal departments, clients, and subcontractors
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Monitor project costs and support tracking of commercial performance
  • Prepare and submit Applications for Payment in line with contractual timescales
  • Assist with subcontractor account management, including variations and final accounts

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a commercial, quantity surveying, project coordination, or administrative role
  • Understanding of contract management and commercial processes within construction or M&E
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)

Electrical Maintenance Technician (Shift) 📍 Horsham, West Sussex 🕒 Full-time | Shift-based (4 on / 4 off) 💰 £49,183.68 rising to £52,612.56 after probation The Role An opportunity has arisen for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a busy, fast-paced operations team at a large-scale processing facility in West Sussex. This role is key to maintaining plant performance and ensuring maximum availability through a proactive and reactive maintenance approach. Working on a rotating shift pattern, you will play a critical part in delivering safe, efficient engineering operations while driving continuous improvement.
