Administer and maintain the Quality & Environmental Management System (QMS), including document control, non-conformance tracking, and corrective/preventive actions.
Support compliance with ISO standards, BRCGS, and customer-specific requirements.
Coordinate internal audits and assist with external audits and certification processes.
Monitor and report on waste, KPIs, and system performance.
Manage change control processes and ensure timely updates to procedures and work instructions.
Maintain the supplier and service provider approval and review system.
Maintain training records and support quality-related training activities.
Respond to customer information requests, including generation of packaging specifications and data entry into quality systems and databases such as Hamilton Grant, SafeFood 360, and TraceGains.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in a quality systems or quality assurance role, ideally within manufacturing or packaging.
Strong understanding of BRCGS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other relevant standards.
Experience with document control systems and audit processes.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Desirable:
Experience with sustainability and ESG reporting frameworks.
Familiarity with Sedex, EcoVadis, or SBTi-related documentation.
