A well-established and highly respected manufacturing company based in East End of Glasgow are seeking a temp to perm Purchase Ledger Assistant to provide support across a busy ledger
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced purchase ledger professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and can hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Processing a high volume of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
Matching, batching, and coding invoices
Resolving invoice queries with suppliers and internal teams
Reconciling supplier statements
Assisting with payment runs where required
Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with company procedures
Ad hoc duties as required
About You
Proven experience in a high-volume purchase ledger role
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Experience using Xero (preferred but not essential)
Experience using MS Excel to a high level (VLOOKUP & Pivot Tables)
Available at short notice and comfortable with flexible, week-to-week assignments
