Salary Range: £27,000 – £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Join our client's team as a Property Administrator, where you will have the opportunity to manage both property coordination and secretarial duties directly under the guidance of the Company Director. This role is perfect for someone who is highly organised, property-minded, and capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently in an office-based setting.
Day-to-day of the role:
Coordinate statutory compliance including gas, health & safety, and fire risk assessments primarily for four multi-let properties.
Schedule inspections, assist with repairs, and liaise with tenants and contractors to ensure that all buildings are safe, compliant, and performing optimally.
Provide robust secretarial support to the Director, including diary management, preparing reports, and handling other necessary documentation.
Maintain both hardcopy and digital filing systems, manage record keeping such as staff holidays, key logs, and general office duties.
Training will be provided for the property software package used by our team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Demonstrated organizational skills with a high level of integrity and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and a professional, solution-focused approach to managing tenant relationships.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office/365. Basic knowledge of Excel and its formulas is essential.
Experience in property management or a strong willingness to learn and adapt to the property sector.
Beneficial Experience:
Previous experience in managing a commercial property portfolio is advantageous but not essential.
Understanding of statutory compliance related to property management such as fire safety, health & safety, and more.
Ability to coordinate landlord and tenant matters efficiently, including contractual requirements and agreements.
Experience managing contractors, tenders, and maintenance programmes.
