My client a Central London law firm are looking for a part time 3 day a week Legal Aid Biller. You will be integral in managing billing and disbursements for legal cases. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of legal billing processes. Day-to-day of the role: Monitor work in progress (WIP) on files, and coordinate with cost drafts people for non-fixed fee cases, including sending files and updating the family spreadsheet. Manage fixed fee files, preparing bills using LEAP and CCMS. Review bills returned from cost drafts people, ensuring all disbursements are included, and obtain fee earner approvals.
