Year 2 Primary School Teacher – Greenwich

Location: Greenwich, London
Role: Year 2 Teacher (KS1)
Pay Rate: £150 – £200 per day (dependent on experience)

Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Greenwich. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum, ensuring all pupils are supported to achieve their full potential as they progress towards the end of Key Stage 1 assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum
  • Prepare pupils for end of KS1 SATs
  • Assess, track and monitor student progress
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in KS1 (Year 2 desirable)
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A nurturing and patient approach
