Salary Range: £28,244 - £41,718 (Pro-rata, subject to qualifications, skills, and experience)
Hours: Full time
Day-to-Day of the Role of a Travel and Tourism Lecturer:
Deliver engaging teaching across Travel, Tourism & Aviation programmes, primarily at Levels 1–3.
Inspire students with your expertise in global travel, preparing them for real careers in the travel industry.
Serve as both a Course Lead and Personal Tutor, guiding learners to achieve their full potential.
Support student progress, encourage outstanding attendance, and help build essential skills and confidence.
Contribute to curriculum development, participate in team meetings, and assist in planning and reviewing innovative learning activities.
Represent the department at college events such as open evenings and parents’ evenings.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the travel and tourism Lecturer role:
Travel & Tourism, and/or Aviation qualifications at minimum Level 3 or above.
Previous teaching experience in further education (FE) is desirable.
Industry experience in Travel & Tourism or Aviation.
Knowledge of current developments in the FE/Adult curriculum is desirable.
A teaching qualification is highly desirable but not essential.
