My client is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator who is available to start immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong end to end payroll knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing starters and leavers, including all associated documentation
Processing changes such as salary adjustments, bonuses and deductions
Calculating overtime, shift allowances and other variable pay
Handling pension administration including auto enrolment and responding to employee queries
Processing statutory payments such as SSP, SMP and SPP
Managing P45s, P60s and P11Ds in line with HMRC requirements
Ensuring payroll compliance with current UK legislation and regulations
Reconciling payroll reports and resolving discrepancies
Liaising with HR and Finance to ensure accurate payroll data
Responding to employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in a payroll administration role within the UK
Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, tax and NI
Experience using payroll system iTrent and Excel
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work to tight deadlines and handle confidential information
This role requires someone who can hit the ground running and confidently manage payroll processes from day one.
