We are currently seeking a Pastoral Teaching Assistant to join our school team immediately. This role is crucial within our pastoral structure, offering vital support to pupils by managing their behaviour and promoting their wellbeing.
Day-to-day of the role:
Monitor and Support: Oversee students in corridors, ensuring a safe and respectful school environment.
Escort Duties: Accompany pupils to and from the reflection room as needed.
Behaviour Management: Assist in managing and improving student behaviour.
Wellbeing Promotion: Support the emotional and social development of students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in a Supportive Role: Previous experience in a pastoral or similar educational support role is preferred.
Strong Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents.
Behaviour Management Skills: Competence in handling and improving student behaviour.
Empathetic and Supportive: Strong commitment to student wellbeing and personal development.
Benefits:
Competitive Daily Rate: £95 to £105 per day, based on experience.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:15 PM with a 30-minute lunch break.
