We are currently recruiting for a Parts Advisor on behalf of our client, a rapidly expanding business operating within the luxury sector. This is an excellent opportunity to join an employee-owned organisation that places strong emphasis on teamwork, quality, and long-term success.

The successful candidate will play a key role within the parts and aftersales function, supporting customers, service teams, and workshops while contributing to sales growth and operational efficiency.

The Role:

As a Parts Advisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing parts orders, reservations, invoicing, and payments accurately and efficiently
  • Responding to customer and aftersales enquiries in coordination with the service department
  • Producing estimates and supporting sales targets through proactive account management and relationship building
  • Delivering high-quality customer service via telephone, email, and face-to-face communication
  • Assisting with parts stock control and liaising closely with workshops and service advisors
  • Carrying out telesales activity, including cold calling, promoting offers, and maintaining customer relationships
  • Attending automotive events, car shows, and client meetings as required

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Fluency in English and either German or Dutch
  • Previous experience within the automotive industry, ideally within a premium or luxury environment
  • A strong commercial mindset with the ability to contribute to sales growth and profitability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
  • A professional attitude, demonstrating integrity, discretion, and attention to detail
  • A solid technical understanding of motor vehicles and a commitment to ongoing learning
  • Strong organisational skills and a confident, professional telephone manner
  • A full, valid, and clean UK driving licence

Replace or repair faulty components, including engines, transmissions, and braking systems. Inspections: Conduct regular vehicle inspections to identify and fix potential safety issues, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Diagnostics: Utilise diagnostic tools to accurately identify vehicle issues, interpret diagnostic codes, and determine the best course of action for repairs. Record Keeping: Maintain detailed reports of all maintenance and repair work performed, documenting parts used and time spent on each job. Compliance: Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and keep up-to-date with changes in regulations and industry standards. Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers and supervisors about vehicle issues and repairs, ensuring customer satisfaction. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven track record in vehicle maintenance and repair management. At least 3 years’ experience in transport maintenance within a commercial vehicle workshop environment. NVQ level 3 in HGV service and maintenance (preferred). IRTEC Qualification would be advantageous. Category C+E driving licence (with no more than 6 penalty points). Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to use your own initiative.
