Day-to-day of the role:
Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring administrative processes run efficiently.
Supervise and support administrative staff, including reception and clerical teams.
Oversee office supplies, equipment, and facilities management.
Coordinate internal communications and support cross-departmental collaboration.
Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and documentation in line with company policies.
Assist with HR-related tasks such as onboarding, absence tracking, and personnel file management.
Support finance functions including invoice processing, petty cash, and budget tracking.
Liaise with external suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
Ensure compliance with health & safety, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements.
Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence for senior management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in office management or senior administration, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong leadership and organisational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP or business systems is advantageous.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of basic HR and finance procedures is desirable.
