Office Coordinator (Temporary – 3 Months, Potential to Go Permanent)
Location: Edinburgh (Office-based – 5 days per week) Hours: 37.5 hours per week (flexible start and finish times) Salary: £26,500 – £28,000 (pro rata)
Overview
Our client, a well-established organisation within a specialist services sector, is seeking an experienced and highly organised Office Coordinator to join their Edinburgh office on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative, financial, and HR coordination experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
There is potential for this role to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Office Coordination & Administration
Act as the first point of contact for general office queries and administrative support
Maintain office systems, records, and filing (both digital and physical)
Coordinate meetings, diaries, and internal communications
Support the smooth day-to-day running of the office
Financial Administration
Assist with financial processes such as invoicing, expense tracking, and purchase orders
Maintain accurate financial records using Excel and internal systems
Support basic finance reporting and data management
HR Administration
Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes
Maintain employee records and ensure data is up to date
Support HR documentation, absence tracking, and general HR queries
Coordinate training records and compliance documentation
Key Requirements
Previous experience in an office coordination, administrative, or similar role
Strong Excel skills (comfortable handling data, spreadsheets, and basic reporting)
