We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our supportive early years team. This role involves working with young children, helping to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment that supports their early development and learning.
Day-to-day of the role:
Support the learning and development of children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote children’s physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to support each child’s individual needs and development.
Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, providing feedback where appropriate.
Encourage positive behaviour and support children’s social and emotional development.
Ensure safeguarding procedures and health and safety standards are always maintained.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
A strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A caring, patient, and nurturing approach to working with young children.
Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
Relevant childcare qualification (desirable).
