This role is crucial for our clients transition from Synapse Analytics to Microsoft Fabric, addressing both technical and skills gaps. The successful candidate will report directly to the project lead and will be instrumental in integrating and implementing Microsoft Fabric within our Azure environment. Day-to-Day of the Role: Design and manage Azure tenant including networking, security, and identity management with Entra. Handle capacity setups, monitoring, and cost management effectively. Onboard source systems and integrate API and file-based data flows. Manage both batch and streaming data processes. Work closely with networking elements such as data gateways, private links, and VPNs. Collaborate with third-party partners and internal teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality. Facilitate on-site knowledge transfer and manage stakeholder communications effectively. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven expertise in Azure Cloud Engineering, data architecture, and Microsoft Fabric implementation. Strong experience in handling Azure tenant design, networking, security, and identity management. Proficient in API and file integrations, as well as managing batch and streaming data. Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate technical concepts in simple terms. Public sector experience is preferred but not essential.
