Motor Vehicle Lecturer

Salary: Up to £41,937 per annum, (plus up to £4,000 per annum)

About the Role

Reed Further Education is currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Motor Vehicle Lecturer to join a leading Further Education College in Lancashire on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced motor vehicle professional to either continue or begin a rewarding career in Further Education.

Whether you are an established lecturer or an industry specialist looking to transition into teaching, we welcome your application. Full training and support will be provided for candidates with strong industry experience who do not yet hold a teaching qualification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across motor vehicle courses
  • Support and inspire learners to achieve their full potential
  • Plan, prepare, and assess learner work in line with curriculum requirements
  • Maintain a safe and productive workshop and classroom environment
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the motor vehicle curriculum

About You

  • Relevant industry experience in motor vehicle maintenance and repair
  • A recognised qualification in Motor Vehicle (Level 3 or above preferred)
  • A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one with support)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A passion for education and developing future talent

All candidates who register with Reed Further Education will have 2 years’ referencing taken up and will be required to have a DBS check completed. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.
