The Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and structured Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
  • Monitor student progress and provide targeted support where needed
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Contribute to departmental planning and resources
  • Support the wider school community and attend meetings/parents’ evenings

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school setting (including placements for ECTs)
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students of varying abilities
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing

SEN - Sen Teaching Assistant
