We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager to lead our marketing department. This role is pivotal in managing all areas of the marketing mix, including brand management, website development, direct marketing, and creative and media planning. The Marketing Manager will be a key leader within the organisation, overseeing the marketing team and collaborating closely with hotel managers and head office departmental leaders to translate business needs into effective marketing strategies.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
Brand Management: Define and evolve individual hotel brand propositions and guidelines to ensure market relevance and differentiation.
Strategy Development & Management: Create and implement detailed marketing strategies and plans for the group and individual hotels, aligning with broader sales and marketing objectives.
Marketing Implementation & Direction: Lead the execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, ensuring cohesive creative execution and consistent messaging.
Activation & Delivery: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance digital presence, develop marketing collateral, and ensure all platforms are engaging and up-to-date.
Evaluation & Performance: Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns and strategies to ensure strong ROI and continuous improvement.
Technology & Data: Work with technology partners to enhance guest engagement and operational efficiency, maintaining effective guest databases for data-driven decision-making.
Budget Management: Manage and evaluate marketing budgets for each hotel, ensuring resources are allocated cost-effectively.
People Management: Oversee the performance and development of the marketing team, including an SEO & PPC Manager, Graphic Designer, and Content Manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Level 6 qualification required.
GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or equivalent).
CIPR qualification (desirable).
Experience:
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a senior marketing role, ideally within the retail or hospitality industry.
Proven experience managing marketing budgets and leading a marketing team.
Strong track record in developing and delivering successful marketing strategies.
Experience in larger marketing departments and managing larger teams (desirable).
