Maintenance Electrician

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Carry out general electrical maintenance across client sites.
  • Perform fire alarm testing, emergency lighting checks, and regular compliance inspections.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical faults including fuse board issues and general remedial work.
  • Replace and repair lighting systems, components, and fittings.
  • Complete both PPM tasks and respond to reactive maintenance requests.
  • Travel nationwide Monday–Friday as required to meet operational demands.
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with relevant regulations and internal procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records, job sheets, and system updates using company-provided IT tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (desirable).
  • Proven experience in commercial or industrial maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide throughout the week.
  • Full UK driving licence.
