We are looking for a motivated Paralegal to join a busy and growing Property Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organised, takes ownership of their work, and is keen to develop their expertise within a fast-paced legal environment.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently while also contributing positively to a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
General Team Support
Handling initial enquiries and responding to requests for quotes
Assisting solicitors with a range of administrative and transactional tasks
Transactional Work
Managing processes across a range of property finance matters, including remortgages and acquisitions
Preparing and issuing fee estimates and client quotations
Ensuring all client onboarding and compliance procedures are completed accurately
Liaising regularly with relevant parties such as lenders, clients, brokers, and other legal representatives
Reviewing key documentation, including finance agreements, searches, and title information
Preparing security documentation and supporting reports
Assisting with file progression, including pre-completion checks and financial statements
Supporting post-completion processes, including registrations at HM Land Registry and Companies House
Skills & Experience
Strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with minimal supervision
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Confident IT user, including Microsoft Office applications and collaboration tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Prior experience in a legal or conveyancing environment is advantageous
