Lettings Service Assistant – Temporary (6 Months)
Location: Coventry

Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday–Friday)

Salary: £30,080 per annum or £15.63 (PAYE) per hour

Start: Immediate

We are currently recruiting for a Lettings Service Assistant on behalf of a reputable housing association based in Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and supportive team and gain valuable experience within a fast-paced housing environment.

The Role

This is a varied and hands-on position where you will support the Lettings team with administration, tenancy processes, and customer service delivery. You will play a key role in ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly while delivering a positive experience for residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and responding to customer enquiries
  • Supporting tenancy administration (including council tax, utilities, and accounts)
  • Assisting with property marketing and listings
  • Processing referrals and supporting the allocation of properties
  • Maintaining accurate records and housing data
  • Managing keys, fobs, and access arrangements
  • Supporting compliance tasks, including reporting and returns

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous administration and/or housing or customer service experience
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
  • Good IT skills with strong attention to detail
  • A proactive, professional, and team-oriented approach

Housing Assistant

Housing Assistant Job Type: Full-time, Temporary Contract Location: Huddersfield, Hybrid (1 day in office) Salary: £13.26 PAYE per hour Join our Empty Homes Team and play a crucial role in facilitating the letting of Council homes. This position offers a flexible schedule with hybrid working options, allowing you to work from home most of the week while contributing significantly to community housing solutions. Day-to-day of the role: Carry out all administrative tasks related to the receipt of keys and termination of tenancies, including checking relevant documentation. Develop high-quality, informative adverts in consultation with Neighbourhoods Housing Officers to enable intelligent lettings.
