This role is crucial in ensuring that our facilities are maintained in a safe, efficient manner and comply with all statutory legislation and regulations.
Day-to-day of the role:
Provide effective Health and Safety supervision during all maintenance tasks by the maintenance team and direct contractors.
Supervise a team of Technicians, ensuring they fulfill their job specifications and adopt safe working practices.
Manage the Maintenance Management System, ensuring it is promptly and accurately updated.
Assist in reporting, planning, scheduling, and implementing maintenance activities, including routine and project-related tasks.
Ensure all documentation and certification for installed facilities are compliant with statutory legislative and regulatory requirements.
Identify areas for plant improvement and develop project work scopes and schedules.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Instrumentation qualification (apprenticeship or NVQ level 3) with a good working knowledge in electrical.
4-5 years of maintenance experience in a supervisory capacity, preferably in the oil/gas production industry or similar.
Strong knowledge of mechanical plant, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
Understanding of DSEAR/ATEX regulations and emergency systems management.
Proven ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
IT literacy and strong problem-solving skills.
