Lead Maintenance Technician

  • Annual Salary: £58,000 - £64,000 
  • Potential of 15% of salary based on individual and company performance.

 This role is crucial in ensuring that our facilities are maintained in a safe, efficient manner and comply with all statutory legislation and regulations.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide effective Health and Safety supervision during all maintenance tasks by the maintenance team and direct contractors.
  • Supervise a team of Technicians, ensuring they fulfill their job specifications and adopt safe working practices.
  • Manage the Maintenance Management System, ensuring it is promptly and accurately updated.
  • Assist in reporting, planning, scheduling, and implementing maintenance activities, including routine and project-related tasks.
  • Ensure all documentation and certification for installed facilities are compliant with statutory legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify areas for plant improvement and develop project work scopes and schedules.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Instrumentation qualification (apprenticeship or NVQ level 3) with a good working knowledge in electrical.
  • 4-5 years of maintenance experience in a supervisory capacity, preferably in the oil/gas production industry or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical plant, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Understanding of DSEAR/ATEX regulations and emergency systems management.
  • Proven ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
  • IT literacy and strong problem-solving skills.
