Mid-Level IT Shared Services/GBS Consultant (German Speaking)
My client is a fast-growing, international consulting firm, who partner with clients to design and implement next generation operations. Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking a Mid-Level IT Shared Services/GBS Consultant to join their team.
This role requires German speaking.
This is a Full-Time, Permanent position. With opportunity for locations in the UK/Poland and India (Hybrid Working).
With a salary of:
£40,000 - £70,000 per annum (UK)
Job Role:
You will be responsible for supporting the analysis of IT landscapes, contributing to operating model design, and play a key role in delivering IT and cross-functional transformation projects.
Essential Criteria:
Experience in IT operations, IT service delivery, or enterprise systems environments.
Proven experience in IT transformation and/or transition projects, including: Assessment and feasibility, Solution or operating model design and Implementation and migration.
Strong project delivery experience, supporting workstreams within transformation programmes.
Understanding of enterprise applications, integrations, and IT service management (ITSM).
Experience with GBS or Shared Services models is highly desirable.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal – with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage/prioritise a busy workload while adhering to strict deadlines.
Ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Support IT transformation and transition projects across the full lifecycle: assessment, design, and implementation.
Contribute to IT service transitions, including application and process migration, knowledge transfer, and stabilisation.
Support IT assessments across infrastructure, enterprise systems, and service delivery models.
Map enterprise applications, integrations, and service processes.
Support the design and implementation of IT operating models within GBS and Shared Services environments.
Contribute to process standardisation and service optimisation initiatives.
Support project governance, planning, and tracking across IT transformation initiatives.
Manage deliverables, timelines, risks, and dependencies within assigned workstreams.
Work with stakeholders across HR, Finance, Procurement, and IT teams.
Support client workshops, communications, and alignment throughout transformation programmes.
Contribute to transformation documentation, business analysis, and reporting.
Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and optimisation.
