The successful candidate will support a broad range of generalist HR activities including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, absence management, engagement initiatives and HR administration.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees across the site
Support and manage employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance processes
Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, including advertising, screening, interviews and onboarding
Maintain accurate HR records, reporting and management information
Support training, engagement and wellbeing initiatives across the business
Be a visible and approachable member of the HR team, working closely with the wider operation
About You
Previous experience within a generalist HR position
Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment where priorities can change quickly
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Self-motivated, proactive and driven, with a genuine desire to develop and progress within HR
Someone who enjoys being visible within the business and partnering closely with managers and teams
Experience within retail, warehousing, logistics, distribution, manufacturing or other high-volume operational environments would be highly advantageous
CIPD qualified or currently studying towards CIPD would be beneficial
