Join our collaborative and evolving HR team as an HR Business Partner, reporting directly to an experienced HR Director. This is a pivotal opportunity for a seasoned HR Advisor ready to transition into a more strategic, leadership-focused role during an exciting period of organisational transformation. This business-critical position will allow you to shape the future HR function while supporting operational delivery across the organisation.
Day-to-day of the role:
Provide expert HR advice and guidance across the organisation, supporting managers at all levels.
Lead on a full range of employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, and performance management.
Partner closely with service managers and senior stakeholders to support people strategies.
Support and deliver organisational change initiatives, including restructures and potential TUPE activity.
Assist in developing and updating HR policies and procedures in line with UK employment legislation.
Play a key role in the implementation and embedding of a new HRIS system.
Manage the Occupational Health provider relationship.
Line manage and develop a Recruitment Coordinator, supporting their progression and capability building.
Drive employee engagement initiatives and deliver training on employment law and HR best practice.
Contribute to both strategic HR planning and operational delivery, ensuring alignment with organisational values.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience at HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor level.
Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations.
Experience advising, influencing, and coaching line managers.
Ability to manage a busy and varied workload, prioritising effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills with an approachable, collaborative style.
Comfortable working on-site and engaging with stakeholders face-to-face.
Desirable: Experience within a regulated or unionised environment, exposure to restructures and TUPE processes, previous line management experience, CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent), experience supporting system implementation projects (HRIS).
