We are currently supporting a large, multi‑site organisation with the recruitment of a Temporary HR Advisor to provide short‑term cover while a permanent position is recruited.
This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who is immediately available (or on short notice) and confident managing a high‑volume Employee Relations caseload in a fast‑paced environment.
The Role
Acting as a generic HR Advisor, supporting across multiple campuses as required
Managing a high caseload of ER and absence cases, including:
Sickness absence management
Capability processes
Advising managers on HR policy and best practice
Providing pragmatic, day‑to‑day HR advice to stakeholders
Supporting consistency and compliance across ER activity
The main base for the role will be Trafford with occasional travel depending on the ER case location.
Working Pattern
36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Usual working hours are between 9:00am-5.00pm finish (some flexibility offered)
Onsite initially, moving to hybrid working 1 day WFH a week
About You
Proven experience in an HR Advisor or ER-focused role
Confident managing a busy, complex ER caseload with minimal supervision
Strong knowledge of absence management and capability processes
Comfortable working in a multi‑site or matrix environment
Available to start within the next couple of weeks
