Our client is looking for someone on a contract basis as a property professional to help primarily undertake some non-residential property/land asset disposals. There may also be some acquisitions potentially involved in the commission as well as potentially some lease renewals and reviews.

Below is a short outline of the requirements in respect of the asset disposals work.

Functions in respect of Property Asset Disposals part only:

Advise on the most effective disposal strategy (sale, lease, auction, tender, or transfer).
Carry out or commission property valuations.
Estimate market value and disposal proceeds.
Prepare property for disposal.
Negotiate terms and contractual conditions.
Manage bids and offers.
Liaise with stakeholders.
Present recommendations to the client.
Instruct solicitors and monitor legal progress.
Ensure disposals comply with legislation, planning requirements, and organisational policies.
Manage any completion processes including the removal of the property from the asset control systems.
