High Skills Technician - Electrical/Electronic Engineering

Salary: £31,632 to £33,621 per annum, including London Weighting

Join our clients highly successful team in an exciting opportunity as a High Skills Technician in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. This role supports their higher education delivery and the West London Institute of Technology, which offers a range of higher education programmes.
Day-to-day of the role:
Work within various labs including the Power and Robotics Lab, PLCs and Mechatronics Lab, Electronics Lab, and LN Experiments Lab.
Assist lecturers in preparing equipment and resources for teaching and learning.
Maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in efficient working condition.
Carry out risk assessments and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
At least 2 years’ experience with electrical equipment, PLCs, robotics, and mechatronics.
Proficiency in higher education software such as Multisim, Matlab, PLC, Verilog, Labview, and C Programming.
Strong understanding of health and safety requirements.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
