Reed HR are working alongside a large Not for Profit Organisation based in Central London who are recruiting for a Health & Safety Administrator for initially 6 months. This is to cover team absence.
This role is hybrid so flexibility is offered.
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and organised Health & Safety Administrator. This role will act as the first point of contact for incoming queries and play a key part in managing and maintaining our HR & Health and Safety systems and platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for health and safety queries received via the shared inbox, responding promptly and escalating where necessary
Provide administrative support to the HR & Health & Safety team
Manage and maintain health and safety digital platforms and systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
Log, track, and monitor incidents, queries, and actions within internal systems
Support compliance by maintaining records, documentation, and audit trails
Assist with the coordination of health and safety processes, including reporting and data management
Liaise with internal stakeholders to support health and safety initiatives
Identify opportunities to improve processes and system efficiencies
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a busy HR Administrative role (health and safety experience is desirable but not essential)
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage and prioritise a busy inbox effectively
Comfortable using digital platforms and systems (experience with H&S systems is an advantage)
Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team
