HEAD OF SALES – ACCOUNTANCY CHANNEL AND STRATEGIC
Location- Remote with UK travel required
Salary- £75,000 + business performance bonus
Our client is a specialist advisory firm delivering high-quality tax incentives and reliefs solutions to UK and International businesses. They work in close partnership with accountancy firms, professional advisers and intermediaries to deliver expert, commercially impactful outcomes for clients.
Due to a period of continued growth, they are seeking an ambitious and experienced Head of Sales to lead and expand their accountancy channel and drive the development of new strategic distribution partnerships.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a senior leadership role with direct responsibility for driving revenue growth through the accountancy partner channel and broader distribution ecosystem. Reporting to a Partner, you will take ownership of a critical growth area of the business by scaling existing relationships, building new commercial channels, and establishing a best-in class sales function.
This role will suit a highly driven, commercially astute sales leader who thrives in competitive markets and is equally comfortable leading from the front and building a high-performing team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and grow the business’s accountancy firm referral network, targeting small to mid-tier firms
- Build strong, senior-level relationships with Managing Partners, Tax Partners and key decision-makers
- Drive increased engagement, referral volumes and revenue from existing partners
- Implement structured partner onboarding and account management processes New Channel Development
- Identify and develop new distribution channels, including corporate finance firms, legal advisers and private client networks
- Design and deliver clear go-to-market strategies for each channel
- Build scalable partner propositions to support long-term growth Sales Performance and Revenue Delivery
- Own and manage a robust sales pipeline across multiple service lines
- Lead key client conversations and high-value deal conversion
- Deliver against ambitious revenue growth targets
- Maintain strong forecasting discipline and pipeline visibility Sales Leadership and Team Management
- Build, lead and develop a high-performing sales team
- Define clear roles, responsibilities and performance expectations KPI Management and Reporting

CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Proven experience in a senior sales or commercial leadership role within professional services, tax, accountancy or financial advisory
- Demonstrable success selling via partner, intermediary or referral channels
- Strong track record of delivering revenue growth in competitive markets
- Experience developing and managing accountancy or professional services networks
SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES
- Strong leadership capability with experience building and managing teams
- Ability to implement structured sales processes, KPIs and reporting frameworks
- Excellent pipeline management and forecasting skills
- Competent user of CRM systems, with hands-on experience of HubSpot (or similar platforms) Personal Attributes
