We are seeking a commercially driven and creative Head of Marketing to lead our dynamic marketing strategy across our prestigious hotel group. This is a pivotal leadership role where you will have full ownership of the marketing mix, from brand positioning and digital performance to campaign execution and enhancing guest experience. You will be instrumental in shaping our guest engagement strategies and ensuring our marketing efforts significantly boost revenue across various services.
Day-to-day of the role:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for the group and individual hotels, aligned with business goals and revenue targets.
Brand & Proposition Development: Continuously refine brand positioning for each hotel, ensuring differentiation and relevance. Develop compelling guest propositions for diverse target audiences.
Campaign Planning & Delivery: Execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels including digital, print, PR, and social media. Manage group-wide promotions and oversee specific marketing strategies for accommodation, food & beverage, weddings, and events.
Digital & Performance Marketing: Manage website performance, SEO, PPC, and other digital campaigns. Utilize analytics tools like Google Analytics to enhance online user experiences and booking processes.
Content & Creative Direction: Lead the creation of engaging marketing content. Manage the marketing calendar and ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms.
Stakeholder & Team Leadership: Direct and develop the marketing team, maintaining strong relationships with hotel managers and department heads to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
Data, Insights & Evaluation: Leverage guest data and CRM insights for targeted marketing strategies. Regularly track and report on campaign performance and ROI to refine tactics.
Technology & CRM: Manage CRM and marketing technology platforms, ensuring effective use of guest databases for customer acquisition and retention.
Compliance & Partnerships: Ensure all marketing activities comply with GDPR and manage relationships with external agencies to maximize performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 8 years in a senior marketing role, preferably within the hospitality or retail sector. Demonstrated ability to deliver successful marketing strategies and manage substantial budgets.
Skills: Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities. Strong analytical skills with a commercial mindset. Proficient in digital marketing, brand management, and campaign execution.
Desirable: CIM Level 6 or equivalent qualification. Familiarity with CRM platforms like Forsight and hospitality management systems. Background in PR or communications is advantageous.
