The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly capable Premises Optimisation Specialist with a strong combination of facilities / real estate functional expertise and transition/project delivery experience to support premises optimisation and workplace transformation initiatives across client organisations.

This role requires hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of transformation projects, including feasibility, solution design, and implementation, within Global Business Services (GBS), Shared Services, and enterprise environments.

You will play a key role in delivering premises optimisation programmes, ensuring effective transition, consolidation, and optimisation of office locations and workplace services into efficient operating models.

Key Responsibilities
Premises Optimisation & Transition Delivery

  • Support and deliver premises optimisation and transition projects across the full lifecycle: feasibility, design, and implementation
  • Contribute to site consolidation, office moves, and footprint optimisation initiatives
  • Participate in transition activities, including planning, migration, stabilisation, and continuous improvement
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, space optimisation, and improved utilisation

Project & Programme Support

  • Support project governance, planning, and tracking across premises transformation initiatives
  • Manage project deliverables, timelines, risks, and dependencies within premises-related workstreams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, IT, Finance, and Facilities to ensure successful delivery

Premises Operations & Functional Expertise

  • Provide strong knowledge across facilities management, workplace operations, and real estate
  • Support the design and improvement of workplace strategies and service delivery models
  • Ensure alignment with best practices in facilities, workplace optimisation, and global operating models

Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with senior stakeholders, business leaders, and local site teams
  • Support communication and alignment throughout optimisation and transition activities
  • Coordinate with vendors, landlords, and external service providers
     

Data, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Manage premises data, reporting, and performance tracking (KPIs such as utilisation, occupancy, and cost metrics)
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, standardisation, and efficiency gains
  • Support data-driven decision-making for workplace and real estate optimisation

 

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in facilities, workplace, or real estate operations within enterprise or shared services environments
  • Demonstrated experience in premises optimisation or transition projects, including:
    • Feasibility and assessment
    • Solution design
    • Implementation and transition
  • Strong project delivery experience, with the ability to manage workstreams and support programme execution
  • Experience in site consolidation, office moves, or workplace transformation initiatives
  • Strong understanding of space utilisation, cost optimisation, and workplace strategy
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, transformation-driven environments

Heat Networks Project Manager

A public sector organisation based in Brent is seeking a Heat Networks Project Manager to take day‑to‑day responsibility for the delivery of the South Kilburn District Heat Network, a major regeneration and decarbonisation project supplying affordable, low‑carbon heat to up to 3,000 homes. You’ll work alongside senior leaders, programme boards, and national partners to ensure change lands successfully, delivers measurable benefits, and strengthens the UK's counter terrorism capabilities. 🧭 What You’ll Be Doing Own and deliver the Business Change & Adoption Strategy across the CT Network Lead and coordinate all aspects of operational readiness Provide strategic leadership to multi-disciplinary teams including Business Change Managers, Training, Communications, and Deployment teams Work closely with senior stakeholders (SRO, Directors, Chief Officers) to drive effective change leadership Ensure seamless transition to business ownership and delivery of programme benefits Maintain a single, integrated view of change activity, identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities Manage and mitigate the operational impact of change in a high-risk environment 🧠 What We’re Looking For You will bring strong leadership, credibility, and experience delivering complex change at scale, particularly within Agile delivery environments. ✅ Essential Experience Senior leadership experience within a complex change or operational environment Proven track record delivering large-scale transformation programmes Strong stakeholder management skills, including influencing at Director / Executive level Experience within government, policing, or security environments ✅ Key Skills Strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into delivery Robust planning, organisation, and delivery under pressure Expertise in change management methodologies (e.g. Prosci, APMG) Strong analytical and problem-solving capability **You will be required to undergo SC clearance unless you already hold DV.
