Finance Manager - Scunthorpe 

Reed Finance are partnerting with an established business in the third sector who are looking to add a Finance Manager to their established finance team, 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to drive performance and make a real difference. You will report directly into the Finance Director. Main responsibilities include;

  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records and data
  • Monitor budgets to ensure they remain on track and aligned with organisational objectives
  • Maintain and enforce effective financial controls and compliance with relevant regulations
  • Produce management accounts, financial reports, and analysis to support decision-making
  • Provide support and guidance to budget holders
  • Maintain accurate financial data to enable detailed and reliable variance analysis
  • Oversee key financial processes, including:
    • Control account reconciliations
    • Month-end journals
    • Management of international tuition fee income
    • Administration of bursary funding
  • Deliver precise, timely, and meaningful financial information to stakeholders
  • Contribute to financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making
  • Support the organisations long-term sustainability and achievement of strategic objectives

About you 

  • Fully Qualified, actively studying or QBE
  • Excellent business partnering skills with a variety of stakeholders
  • Broad system experience including Microsoft packages
  • Experience within a similar position 
  • Experience within Public Sector, Not for Profit, Education or charity sectors is preferable.
