Reed Finance are currently assisting an established client in the Crawley area in the recruitment of a Finance Manager to oversee their day-to-day finance operations. This role is crucial for managing financial health of the business and requires a professional who is adept at multi-tasking and has a strong background in finance management. As a Finance Manager, you will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, driving the business forward with your expertise.
Day-to-day of the role:
Oversee the entire finance function, including direct management of 2 staff
Manage working capital and Treasury Management.
Ensure compliance with all tax requirements, including VAT and Corporation Tax.
Participate in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly reports.
Update forecasts and monitor KPIs to ensure financial targets are met.
Production of yearly financial statements
Reporting directly to MD and provide financial advice to other departments as needed.
Be part of Senior Leadership Team and contribute to strategic decisions.
Support external auditors
Provide Finance information to shareholders' as required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
ACCA/CIMA qualification, part-qualified or qualified by experience.
Proficient in using Sage and MS Excel.
At least five years of management experience within a finance environment, demonstrating effective team management and motivation.
In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and VAT regulations.
Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with both finance and non-finance individuals effectively.
Strong commercial acumen and technical finance expertise.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to financial management.
