Finance Assistant (Temporary)

Location: Sandycroft, Deeside - Hybrid – 2 days working from home
Salary: Up to £29,000 PA
Contract: Temporary until November 2026

We’re working with a friendly and well‑established business looking for a Finance Assistant to support the finance team on a temporary basis until November. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid Sage 50 experience who enjoys a varied, hands‑on role and the flexibility of hybrid working.

The role

You’ll be supporting the day‑to‑day running of the finance function, helping to keep everything running smoothly during a busy period. Typical duties will include:

  • Processing purchase and sales invoices
  • Managing supplier payments and bank reconciliations
  • Maintaining accurate records on Sage 50
  • Assisting with month‑end tasks
  • Handling finance queries and supporting the wider team as needed

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience in a Finance Assistant or similar role
  • Strong working knowledge of Sage 50
  • Good attention to detail and a methodical approach
  • Comfortable working to deadlines
  • A positive, team‑focused attitude
