We’re working with a friendly and well‑established business looking for a Finance Assistant to support the finance team on a temporary basis until November. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid Sage 50 experience who enjoys a varied, hands‑on role and the flexibility of hybrid working.
The role
You’ll be supporting the day‑to‑day running of the finance function, helping to keep everything running smoothly during a busy period. Typical duties will include:
Processing purchase and sales invoices
Managing supplier payments and bank reconciliations
Maintaining accurate records on Sage 50
Assisting with month‑end tasks
Handling finance queries and supporting the wider team as needed
What we’re looking for
Previous experience in a Finance Assistant or similar role
Strong working knowledge of Sage 50
Good attention to detail and a methodical approach
Comfortable working to deadlines
A positive, team‑focused attitude
