Job Description:

  • Lead, develop and hold accountable a team of field engineers and subcontractors
  • Build a strong performance culture — dealing with underperformance and raising standards
  • Define and implement structure, processes, and governance across the function
  • Take ownership of resource planning, subcontractor strategy, and team growth
  • Embed a robust H&S and compliance culture that stands up to scrutiny
  • Act as the go-to leader for field operations across the business

Beneficial Skills / Experience:

  • Have a track record of managing and developing engineers in the field
  • Be confident handling performance issues, recruitment, and team structure decisions
  • Bring strong leadership presence – decisive, direct, and accountable
  • Understand the commercial reality of running a field function
