We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and flexible English Lecturer to join our dynamic team. You will be instrumental in teaching a range of English courses from pre-entry to Level 2 and GCSE, with a strong focus on Functional Skills for adults. This role offers the opportunity to inspire the next generation of skilled experts and support individuals from diverse backgrounds in achieving their career and life ambitions.
Day-to-day of the role:
Deliver engaging and inclusive English lessons to students across various levels, from pre-entry to Level 2 and GCSE.
Utilize your industry experience to provide valuable insights and inspire students.
Play a key role in promoting the Adult English and Maths curriculum area, participating in marketing events and sharing your experiences as an English Lecturer.
Contribute to the development and implementation of current and future curriculum strategies.
Maintain accurate records and manage administrative responsibilities effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent).
Qualified FE teacher or willingness to work towards this qualification.
Relevant degree or appropriate higher-level qualification in a related field.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
Exceptional organisational skills combined with proficient IT knowledge and sound administrative abilities.
