Reed Recruitment is supporting a leading highly regulated manufacturing company who are recruiting for an Engineering Manager to lead their Manufacturing Engineering function. This is a senior leadership role responsible for leading and developing the Manufacturing Engineering team, ensuring the successful delivery of manufacturing systems. Whilst working cross-functionally with Design, Programme, and Industrial teams to support New Product Introduction (NPI) and ongoing manufacturing optimisation.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and manage the Manufacturing Engineering team, providing clear direction, technical leadership, and operational oversight.
  • Oversee the planning, development, and commissioning of manufacturing systems for New Product Introductions.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of manufacturing systems, using KPIs and lifecycle reviews to drive continuous improvement
  • Identify and introduce new technologies and best practices, benchmarking across global operations
  • Take ownership of programme management activities including planning, resourcing, budgeting, and earned value reporting.
