Desktop Support Engineer

Our global client is looking for a customer-focused Desktop Support Engineer to work at their Headquarters in Southampton.
Working within the IT support team, you'll provide hands-on support for incidents, service requests, planned changes, and Smart Hands activities. You'll also support VIPs, Executives, and Senior Management, taking ownership of issues through to resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Deskside and end-user support
- Managing incidents and service requests via ServiceNow
- PC/laptop builds and Windows 11 configuration
- Active Directory administration
- Office 365 support
- Hardware troubleshooting and repairs
- Asset management and documentation
- VIP and Executive user support
- Supporting project work as required
Essential Skills
- Desktop/Deskside Support experience
- ServiceNow (S-NOW)
- Microsoft Office 365
- Windows 11
- Active Directory
- Asset Management
- Strong documentation skills
- Excellent communication and customer service
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Desirable Skills
- AV support experience (or willingness to learn)
- Smart Hands support experience
- VIP/Executive support experience
Additional Information
- Monday to Friday
- Site coverage between 08:00 and 18:00 (8-hour shift)
- Fully onsite in Southampton
