Reed Technology is partnering with a public sector organisation to recruit a Data Specialist on a 2-year fixed-term contract.

You will work across the full range of data activities, supporting the migration from a private cloud-hosted Microsoft SQL Server system into Dynamics 365. This role combines data migration, transformation, and business intelligence, ensuring high-quality data delivery alongside actionable insights through Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the end-to-end data migration lifecycle, including extraction, profiling, cleansing, validation, transformation, and loading into Dynamics 365 Sales CRM.
  • Translate business requirements into data mapping specifications, aligning legacy data with Dynamics 365 structures.
  • Execute and validate data loads using appropriate tools and ETL processes.
  • Create and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to support business insights.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to support testing and ensure data quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar data-focused role, working on data migration, transformation, or ETL activities.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL Server and handling structured data.
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 and Power BI.
  • Familiarity with data mapping, cleansing, and validation processes.
  • Understanding of Microsoft cloud technologies (Azure, Power Platform, Microsoft 365).
