An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced CRM / Email Specialist to join a well-established business within the premium  e-commerce sector on a 9-month fixed-term contract.

Reporting to the CRM & Customer Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in planning, building, executing, and optimising email marketing campaigns and app push notifications that drive customer engagement, conversion, repeat purchase, and lifetime value.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong technical email marketing expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for delivering highly personalised customer communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of the CRM and email marketing strategy in line with customer lifecycle and commercial objectives.
  • Build, test, deploy, and quality-check email campaigns and broadcast push notifications.
  • Manage the end-to-end campaign process, including briefing, audience selection, scheduling, testing, deployment, and reporting.
  • Execute targeted and personalised communications using customer, behavioural, and transactional data.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, E-commerce, Brand, Creative, Customer Experience, and Technology.
  • Support the optimisation of automated customer journeys, including welcome programmes, abandoned cart communications, browse abandonment campaigns, and post-purchase journeys.
  • Implement A/B testing across subject lines, content, creative, CTAs, and send times to improve engagement and conversion.
  • Monitor campaign performance, deliverability, and database health, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all communications adhere to GDPR and email marketing best practice.
  • Maintain accurate campaign documentation, processes, and quality assurance standards.
  • Stay up to date with CRM, email marketing, and personalisation trends to drive innovation and performance.

 

What we need from you:

  • Proven experience in a CRM, Email Marketing, or Customer Marketing role.
  • Hands-on experience using an Email Service Provider (ESP) or CRM platform to build and deploy campaigns, Klaviyo desirable
  • Strong understanding of customer segmentation, personalisation, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Experience analysing campaign performance and translating insights into actionable improvements.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong testing and quality assurance skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercial awareness and a customer-first mindset.
