We are seeking a Conveyancer to join our dynamic team. This role involves handling all aspects of domestic conveyancing, assisting team members, and contributing to business development by maintaining strong relationships with local estate agencies and mortgage brokers. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Day-to-day of the role:
Take instructions from clients in all residential conveyancing transactions, pre and post completion work
Assist other members of the team with workloads and with file opening.
Work alongside the Legal Secretary team to manage all due diligence and supporting paperwork.
Ensure compliance with all CQS requirements.
Utilise the case management system (LEAP) and time recording as required.
Monitor and develop systems connected with the Property Department alongside the Department Head.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with local estate agencies and/or mortgage brokers.
Cover for other Fee-Earners in the Property Department during their absence or as directed by the Head of Department.
Undertake other tasks or duties as reasonably required by the Head of Department or Partners.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
2 years+ experience in residential conveyancing, pre and post completion work.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships both internally and externally.
Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Capability to work independently without secretarial support.
Proficient in using legal case management systems, preferably LEAP.
