Construction Contracts Manager

Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 per annum

We are currently working with a well-established and growing property services organisation that is looking to appoint an experienced Construction Contracts Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team delivering a range of minor construction works, with a particular focus on remedial and compliance-led projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Plan, coordinate and deliver multiple minor construction projects, ensuring timelines, budgets and quality standards are achieved.
  • Team & Subcontractor Management: Oversee direct trades and subcontractors to ensure works are completed efficiently and safely.
  • Contract Administration: Prepare, review and manage contracts with clients, suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with agreed terms.
  • Financial Control: Monitor project costs, manage budgets and report on financial performance, identifying and addressing any variances.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients, consultants and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects.
  • Compliance & H&S: Ensure all works are compliant with current legislation, industry standards and health & safety requirements.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimise disruption.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of workmanship through effective quality control processes.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, risks and key metrics.

Requirements

  • Experience in construction project or contracts management,
  • Demonstrable experience managing contracts, budgets and multiple projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and regulatory requirements
  • Proficient in project management tools and systems.
  • Experience Managing Teams
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites
  • CSCS card (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
