Registered Manager – Children’s EBD Residential Home
Salary: £60,000 per annum
Contract: Full‑time, permanent
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead our 3‑bed Children’s Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) home. This is a key leadership role within our organisation, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the day‑to‑day management of the home in line with Ofsted requirements.
Ensure a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for children with EBD needs.
Manage, mentor, and develop a skilled staff team.
Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and behaviour support strategies.
Build strong relationships with local authorities, families, and external partners.
Drive continuous improvement and maintain a culture of excellence.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children’s residential setting.
Strong understanding of EBD, trauma‑informed practice, and safeguarding.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards).
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
A commitment to achieving positive outcomes for young people.
