Working Hours: 9am till 5pm (Hybrid: 3 days in the office)
Sheffield City Council are seeking a Business Support Officer to provide essential office administration support to their busy Approved Mental Health Professionals (AMHP) Service. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, efficient, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the AMHP service.
Support and contribute to the maintenance and development of Information Systems.
Handle purchasing of goods and services essential for the operation of the service.
Manage communications including telephone calls, messages, mail, and personal callers.
Offer advice and information to both internal and external stakeholders.
Contribute to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the service area.
Engage actively in a culture of continuous improvement across the service.
Perform any other duties as required that fall within the scope and grade of the post.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in an administrative support role.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in using office software and information systems.
Commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
