We are currently recruiting for a Bursar’s Assistant to join a welcoming and well-run school in Birmingham. This is a 3-month temp-to-perm opportunity, offering a varied role across HR administration, safeguarding, and wider operational support.
Working closely with the Bursar and senior leadership team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
Preparing contracts and HR documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
Maintaining HR, safeguarding, and compliance records (including the Single Central Register)
Keeping all compliance documentation up to date and aligned with regulations
Providing general administrative support across the Bursary function
Supporting reception cover when required

Highly organised, reliable, and able to work independently
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information
Confident communicator with a proactive approach
Previous HR or administrative experience desirable
