Reed is delighted to be supporting a fantastic organisation in their search for a Bid Coordinator to join their growing Business Development team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and proactive individual to play a key role in coordinating and delivering high-quality bids and proposals.

The Role

As a Bid Coordinator, you will provide essential support to the Business Development function by identifying new opportunities and managing the end-to-end bid process. From initial qualification through to submission and feedback, you’ll ensure all proposals are delivered to the highest standard and within deadlines.

You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams, helping to create compelling submissions while maintaining robust processes and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track tender opportunities across multiple frameworks and portals
  • Manage and support the bid qualification (go/no-go) process
  • Assist in the preparation of bids through research, data gathering, and cross-team coordination
  • Format, proofread, and edit proposal documents to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Produce engaging written content that clearly communicates value propositions
  • Track deadlines and manage bid timelines to ensure timely submissions
  • Maintain bid plans and schedules using tools such as Monday.com and AccessPlanIt
  • Organise and manage the SharePoint bid library for easy access to materials
  • Record and analyse bid activity, success rates, and outcomes
  • Support continuous improvement of bid processes and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, including health & safety and security

About You

Essential:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and document accuracy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach with the ability to work under pressure
  • Professional and confident communication style
  • Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance

Desirable:

  • Experience in bids, proposals, or a similar role
  • Project management knowledge (e.g. PRINCE2, APM PFQ)
  • Familiarity with bid portals and submission systems
  • Experience with Monday.com and/or AccessPlanIt
  • Understanding of learning and development environments
